The technology

Dry Ice Blasting Is the Method. The Application Comes First.

Dry ice blasting uses compressed air to accelerate solid CO₂ pellets toward a contaminated surface. The media sublimates after impact, which means it does not leave a separate abrasive blasting medium behind.

Integra assesses whether the process is appropriate for the equipment, contaminant, surface and operating environment before recommending it.

Explore Dry Ice Blasting
Moisture-free process

No water is introduced by the dry ice media.

Non-abrasive media

Suitable for applications where surface protection is important.

Less secondary media

Dry ice sublimates instead of remaining as separate blast material.

Application-led assessment

Suitability is checked before work is recommended.

How we work

Assessment Before Execution

The same planning approach applies across industries and equipment types.

01

Understand the Asset

Identify the equipment, surface, contamination and maintenance objective.

02

Confirm Suitability

Review site conditions, access, safety controls and whether dry ice blasting is appropriate.

03

Plan the Work

Scope the cleaning around shutdown, maintenance or production requirements.

04

Execute & Review

Carry out the agreed cleaning scope and review the cleaned asset against the requirement.
